Appointment requests
Submitting a request does not guarantee an appointment. AJ’s Installations will confirm service scope, availability, location and applicable charges before a booking is accepted.
Prices and extras
Standard labour prices are in Canadian dollars. Parts, applicable taxes and travel fees are separate unless the service specifically states otherwise. Any nonstandard work is discussed before approval.
Customer-supplied products
We can install suitable customer-supplied equipment after reviewing compatibility and condition. Manufacturer defects of customer equipment are distinct from installation workmanship. Applicable statutory rights remain in effect.
Deposits
Most standard installations do not require deposits. Expensive special-order parts may require an agreed deposit covering the cost of those parts, discussed before purchase. Cancellation and deposit terms are communicated in advance and subject to applicable Ontario consumer law.
Exterior RGB lighting
Not every colour or operation is permitted on public roads. You are responsible for using lighting lawfully; we can discuss practical installation considerations but do not guarantee road legality.
Aftermarket equipment, compatibility and warranties
AJ's Installations performs installation services for compatible aftermarket products, including customer-supplied equipment. We are not the manufacturer or seller of equipment supplied directly by a customer. Product defects, firmware and software support, and manufacturer warranty coverage may be governed by the relevant supplier's terms. A product issue is not automatically an installation workmanship issue, and installation workmanship remains our responsibility as required by law.
We review compatibility before installation when possible, but vehicle variants, modified wiring, parts condition and product information may affect the scope of work. Where additional adapters, labour or troubleshooting are necessary, those costs will be explained before approval. We do not guarantee every feature or system compatibility without examining the vehicle and equipment.
Safety systems and road legality
Installations must not knowingly compromise airbags, visibility, electrical safety or original safety features. RGB exterior lighting and certain operating modes may be restricted on public roads; a visual demonstration is not confirmation that a modification is legal in Ontario. Owners should check applicable requirements before road use. Baby-monitor cameras and reverse cameras are aids, not substitutes for responsible driving or direct supervision.
Vehicle manufacturer warranty considerations
Aftermarket modifications may raise vehicle-manufacturer warranty questions depending on the modification, the defect and applicable consumer law. We cannot guarantee an original-vehicle warranty will remain unaffected or become void. Check the relevant manufacturer or dealer terms when needed.
